Spanish Course (Advanced Beginner) This level is equivalent to A1.2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL). Students have covered the very basics of Spanish (A1.1). In this course the student will understand and use familiar, everyday expressions and very simple sentences, which relate to the satisfying of concrete needs. Will introduce themselves and others as well as ask others about themselves, (e.g., where they live, who they know and what they own), and will respond to questions of this nature. Will communicate in a simple manner if the person they are speaking to speaks slowly and clearly and is willing to help. Lessons will follow a Communicative Approach. The instructor is a native Spanish speaker with Hispanic Language and Literature degrees.
